This weekend, Davy Tessier, CEO of Furious, answered questions from Jeanne Baron on the “Hebdo Com” program on BFM Business.

[Jeanne Baron] What is the current state of AI in the field of communication in France today?

[Davy Tessier] AI is a tool for developers. People like to think they have AI in their tools, much like we like to think we have a car that gets better gas mileage or that our phone has the latest camera technology.

That’s the “how,” but not the “why.”

The key issue is the proactive, predictive nature of these tools. Good tools—attractive and easy to use—are already a huge help for many very small businesses, but the challenge in the coming years will be tools that allow businesses to anticipate or even understand customer flows and take action when necessary.

On this path, AI—and not just AI—can be a game-changer.

[JB] That’s where you come in with your gem, Furious squad—can you tell us about your story?

[DT] After more than 10 years working at a communications agency, we created a management tool for service companies (agencies, professional services) that saves time and money (on average, it replaces 7 tools for our clients and saves each professional group about 20% of their time).

Well-managed processes and tools directly contribute to a company’s performance… or to disasters.

Generally speaking, our clients come to us in two situations > s in the growth phase looking to structure their business and gain insights into industry best practices, or following an operational crisis they didn’t see coming.

With Furious, it’s impossible to lose money without the tool warning you first!

[JB] What innovative solutions do you offer to businesses?

[DT] Looking back, we can identify three main ways to organize a service business:

1/ Lots of different tools: We have the best in each area, but once a company reaches a certain size, this becomes a pitfall > —it’s difficult to reconcile data quickly and proactively. It’s impossible to draw correlations.

This is often the solution chosen by people who don’t know that they don’t know. One problem, one tool, several tools > s of problems.

2/ An enterprise resource planning (ERP) system designed primarily for finance. While it effectively tracks key performance indicators, operational teams generally criticize it for its accounting-based approach and its lack of suitability for day-to-day customer relationship management.

3/ Comprehensive management tools designed with operations in mind that have incorporated financial capabilities. These are the new-generation tools—of which Furious is one—that help speed up these operations, identify correlations, and, in short, provide an autopilot for the plane 😉

As a result, Furious naturally includes all the tools needed to manage a service business

– Predictive prospecting

– Sales Pipeline Management

– Quote Management

– Project Management

– Planning

– Billing

– Purchasing

– Expense Reports

and SI HR to manage the quality of human resources.

[JB] What are your goals for this very unusual start to the school year?

[DT] We continue to expand Furious’s range of connectors with additional tools in order to meet the needs of as many customers as possible.

We are rolling out new predictive tools that help our clients anticipate year-end results and make the right organizational and operational decisions.

For example, the tool can suggest that you reinforce your teams in anticipation of an operational problem—weeks before the problem actually occurs.

In short, it’s shaping up to be a Furious end to the year!
